The Philosophy of Ayurveda
The Concept of Man & the World. Identity & Environment.
As
the oldest medical sciences passed down, Ayurveda shows the harmonious
connection between body, mind and soul. "Ayuh," life, and "Veda",
knowledge, is the literal translation of the concept. Ayurveda the knowledge from life, was originally handed down by Buddhist monks and today is successfully practised all over the world.

To
integrate Ayurveda into a modern way of life means putting you, the
person, back in the centre of attention at the Ayurveda Resort Sonnhof.
In
Ayurveda there is no separation between the intellectual, spiritual and
tangible world. All forms of life follow the same laws, which
manifest themselves in 5 elements (
Mahabhutas). In the human body these 5 elements work within three biological energies (Doshas), which determines your
body type
(Vata, Pitta, Kapha). The goal of Ayurveda is to balance the
distribution of the energy of the three Doshas and therewith achieve an
inner balance, which establishes the basis for lasting health and
intellectual development.
To achieve this balance, take part in
Ayurveda medical, physiological and mental methods of treatment. We
would be happy to inform you about how you can integrate Ayurveda into
your life.
