Coconut Balls
Ingredients:
1 tbsp. of ghee, 150g of polenta, 50g of corn flour, 2 rounded tbsp. of jaggery, 4 pitted dates, 50g ground roasted almonds, ¼ tsp. of cinnamon, 1 pinch ginger powder, 1 pinch of cardamom, 1 tsp. of bourbon vanilla, 1 pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. of coconut milk powder, grated coconut
Preparation:
Heat the ghee. Add the polenta and corn flour and lightly brown while constantly stirring. Add 400ml of water and jaggery and stir well. Meanwhile, stew the dates until they are soft. Finally purée make into a maize porridge with the remaining ingredients. Form small balls or cubes with the dough and roll in the grated coconut.
